Bayern Munich Attempts to Hijack Tottenham’s Pursuit of Genoa Defender Dragusin

Bayern Munich has attempted to disrupt Tottenham’s pursuit of Genoa defender Radu Dragusin. Bayern is exploring negotiations for the Romania international, yet both clubs are yet to settle on a fee for the player, who Genoa values at £25m ($32m).

The move complicates matters for Spurs, who were previously linked to a deal for Eric Dier but might pivot towards Dragusin, affecting their transfer plans. Dragusin, who has made significant strides at Genoa since joining permanently in the summer, having previously taken him on loan, he has developed into one of their most important players. Since his debut, he has made 62 appearances for the Serie A club, and has also won 12 caps for Romania.

Dragusin is one of the most in-demand footballers in the January market and Genoa are likely to hold out for the highest possible fee for their prized asset, leaving uncertainty whether he’ll end up in England or Germany.
