Chelsea Manager Pochettino Discusses Potential January Signings Amid Squad Evaluation and Financial Fair Play Constraints
Mauricio Pochettino has engaged in discussions with Chelsea’s top management regarding potential January acquisitions, despite the club already possessing a substantial player roster and facing limitations concerning Financial Fair Play regulations.
“We’re evaluating the squad, as usual,” stated Pochettino. “We had talks with the owners and the sporting director yesterday and today. We’re exploring, much like other teams, any openings.”
When questioned about the nature of these discussions, Pochettino remarked, “They were positive, quite pleasant. We maintain a strong relationship. Everything is proceeding smoothly. These are routine conversations that are necessary.”
