Wayne Rooney Out, Tony Mowbray IN: Birmingham City gets new Manager
Tony Mowbray has been appointed as the new manager for Birmingham City, taking over from Wayne Rooney. The former Sunderland and West Brom manager has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with St Andrew’s.
Following John Eustace and Rooney, Mowbray becomes the third manager for the Blues this season, with Rooney leaving after a brief 83-day tenure.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Mowbray stated, “I’m thrilled to join Birmingham at this juncture. I’m eager to return to coaching and commence work with this skilled squad of players.”
