Kerr Smith Signs New Contract with Aston Villa; to proceed on Loan to St. Johnstone
Aston Villa is has confirmed the extension of Kerr Smith’s professional contract with the club. Additionally, he will be promptly loaned out to St Johnstone until the conclusion of the current season.
The centre-back, a youth international for Scotland, became a part of Villa in January 2022 and has consistently featured for the Under-21s in Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy this season.
Following the renewal of his contract, Smith, previously associated with Dundee United, will now be part of the St Johnstone squad, who currently occupy the 10th position in the Scottish Premiership.
It’s important to note that the completion of this move is contingent upon obtaining international clearance.
